Our Planning Model
Our planning model recognizes events in your life that have financial consequences, such as:
- Job Loss
- Charitable Giving
- Business Succession
- Estate & Wealth Transfer
- Disability or Critical Illness
It is critical to the effectiveness of our recommendations that we know where all of our clients´ assets are located. Proper recommendations can only be made with complete and accurate information. Our intention is not to disturb the work of other professionals, rather to compliment it. Similarly, confidentiality is of utmost importance given the nature of our work and at all times is respected.
As Certified Financial Planners and Chartered Life Underwriters, we are bound by the Code of Ethics adopted by the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada and ADVOCIS, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada.
We conduct our practice based upon the ADVOCIS financial planning model:
- Gather background data
- Establish the client´s objectives
- Project future needs and develop strategies
- Document our recommendations
- Implement the strategy
- Monitor progress and make changes as needed
